SEATTLE, OCTOBER 1, 2024 – In partnership with Sports Business Journal, The Collective® – the industry-leading women’s impact and advisory business of global sports, music, and entertainment company Wasserman – is launching the 2024-25 Futures Cohort: a group of 20 women who are driving the industry forward through daring ideas, campaigns, strategies, deals, and activations. GSE Partner, Sara Mosiman was selected to be part of this year’s program.
“As the sports landscape evolves, the need for diverse leadership has never been greater. The Collective® Futures Cohort is designed to meet this need by offering participants a unique blend of peer-to-peer mentorship, networking opportunities, and community,” said Managing Director, The Collective® Thayer Lavielle. “ By investing in these women today, The Collective® and Sports Business Journal are committed to ensuring that this group of tomorrow’s leaders is well-supported to guide the industry through its next chapter.”
Sara’s pioneering work and passion for athlete impact, sports health and safety, and student-athlete development led to her induction.
The Collective® Futures cohort advances the power of U.S.-based women in leadership by providing community, education, and industry connections in a setting that fosters the growth and support of these young leaders. SBJ supports this strategic alliance, which will amplify the voices of the cohort across the industry, creating visibility for the challenges they aim to address and their achievements toward progress.
Throughout the year, participants will engage in a series of focused workshops, roundtable discussions, and networking events designed to create peer-to-peer mentorship and a supportive community. They will push each other toward innovation, creativity, and industry change. By the end, members will have expanded their professional networks and gained a support network to advance their leadership journeys.
The Collective Futures Cohort is a commitment to the future of the sports industry: by investing in these women today, SBJ and The Collective will ensure that this group of leaders of tomorrow are well-supported to guide the industry through its next chapter.
